Contests

Currently I'm hosting two contests. They're both kinda basic, one you have to base off a poem and the other around song lyrics. It can be a direct interpretation or just a general perception.

Both have deadlines that are pretty far off and don't have a lot of participants right now. I'm confident that I'll be judging these untime as my activity level hasn't gone into a downward spiral.

Now off topic, to get this blog to word count.
Teaching a one year old sign language is really tiring and wears on my patience. Ethan doesn't speak yet beyond saying: "Mama", "Dada", and he says, "Ba-bye!" So I'm trying to at least teach him a few words in order to make communications easier. My main goals, "Please", "Thank you", "Milk" and he doesn't comply.
Oh he understands it. I'll say, "Give mommy that thing your holding." I'll pause and then say "Please" and rub my chest in a circular motion. He sees it and gives it to me. Or he'll hold his hand out for me to give him a cookie and I'll say, "Please?" and making him rub his own chest. He's not catching on but I figured it be a long shot.
