You Like Vampires? You'll Love This New Story

So I really want to get back into writing. And I'm a big fan of the horror genre, so naturally, why don't I write horror?

Alex Moore. and I are planning a vampire cowrite together, which should start relatively soon depending on how our schedules go and how much we plan. It is called Dark Veins, and I think it's going to be pretty fantastic. It takes place in 1920's New Orleans, the prohibition era, and it should turn out pretty epic.

But, on my own, I'm writing a little prequel to Dark Veins. You see, there's a lot of backstory between the characters in DV, and while it'll be explained, I really like it so I'm putting it into an entirely separate story. I won't give any spoilers, but I think it'll be really good. It's kinda Interview With the Vampire-esque, historical, and if I do everything right it should make for a good read. The first chapter is up so far, and it's called Deep Roots. You should totally give it a read!
