Is the World Mimicking the Bible?

I don't mean this to be bashful. This is just a casual observation I've made, and I was influenced by one of my classmates who I talked to today. We were talking about the world's ironic mimicry of the Christian beliefs.

Now, if you're an atheist, great. If you're a Muslim, great. If you're a certified Christian, great. I ask that you guys please remember to respect each other. I'm a Christian (I was just recently converted), and I am aware that I'm opening up a sensitive topic. So I'll try to tackle this... somehow... in a way that's not... scandalous... I guess?

Anyway, these were four things my classmate and I discussed about trending fads that ironically mimicked the Bible, though it could just be a coincidence:

1. "Following" people online (be it on Twitter, or instagram). Need I go on? I will, anyway. In the scriptures, Jesus Christ (Yeshua) had 12 apostles following him, and aside from that, the bible has many references of people following Jesus in order to hear the "truth". The bible mentioned people literally following Jesus around town as he preached the gospel (like in here).

2. The apple logo. It shows a fruit being bitten, it was almost like an allusion to the book of Genesis in the Bible where Eve and Adam took a bite out of the forbidden fruit. Although there's this huge argument that the "forbidden fruit" was not necessarily an apple.

3. "Tablets", i.e. android tablets, iPad tablets. Moses also carried two "tablets" that had the ten commandments written on them.

4. The famous phrase "The thirst is real" or using the colloquial term "thirst" meaning lust, therefore resulting in the following terms: "thirsty bitches", "thirsty hoes", etc. The Bible also often mentioned "thirst" as form of desire for more of God. A famous verse I keep hearing is: John 6:35 "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Many are saying that these are signs that the day of rupture is near. But who knows, really?

What are your thoughts?

On a side note, I've been feeling so exhausted. I went to a Maternal and Child seminar today, and it was really informative. For mothers out there, it's very, very important to keep in mind that breastfeeding is vital and is even considered a type of medicine.

I have a fever. And a cough. And a runny nose. And I lowkey have a headache, but it's subsiding. Idk if I should go to school tomorrow. I'm feeling really sick, especially since I have an exam tomorrow, nomsayin? I think I'll be "sick" (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) tomorrow.
