Bad Coffee, Record Players With Technical Difficulties, and the Blog Prompt of Doom

I think I'm just gonna do some blogging here before I get to my blog prompt, just because. This morning has gone over pretty well. I got home last night and snuggled into bed around 11:30. I had made a cup of coffee but I pssed out in bed before I got around to drinking it :( But I woke up at 1:00-ish to go pee and I saw my cup of coffee just sitting there. I didn't want to waste it, and I figured it had only been about an hour and a half, so I sipped it...

INSTANT REGERT ((I hope y'all have seen that commercial. The one about the regerts.)

It was cold and yucky. Luckily I had a bottle of water on my nightstand, too, so I drank some of that and went back to bed. Then I woke up at 6:30 and attempted to go on Facebook, but I kept falling asleep while I was scrolling so I would end up clicking on something and wake up being like, "I wasn't on this page?". So around 6:45 I closed Facebook and went back to sleep. Then I woke up to amazing cuddles from the Boyfriend. Usually I'm up before him, so I usually wake him up to cuddles. But this morning it was the other way around and it was so nice :)

We made some very yummy shepherd's pie (The easy way) for brunch. When I say "The easy way" I mean we just took frozen hamburger patties and heated them up on the stove and cut them up, made instant mashed potatoes in the microwave, and made microwave corn, and just mixed it in two little bowls. Technically mashed potatoes aren't on our diet plan, but whatever. It was only a small bit.

After that, my parents came over for a couple minutes. They had been cleaning out the rest of my Memeres house and found some speakers that they thought MIGHT work with the record player we got from my Memeres house. Sadly, none of the speakers are in very good condition or something, because it sounds all fuzzy. So we'll probably just donate everything and buy a new record player and stuff. But we also got a beach umbrella, as well as some Mr. Clean magic erasers they found (Mom knows how much I LOVE Mr. Clean magic erasers).

I gave my Mom her Mothers Day gift, which was a childrens book about loving grandma, I figure her and my Niece can sit down with it and she can read it to her and stuff, especially since my Niece loves to look at books. I also got her this little solar powered plastic flower in a plastic pot. it just kinda moves back and forth and the leaves on it go up and down. The flower itself is actually a red heart, and the pot says something.... I don't really remember 'cause I haven't genuinely lookes at it in about a week. But, it says something motherly. I also got her a really awesome card that has a wearable button that says "Mom off duty" :D

I have to do some grocery shopping later, but so far, that has been my day. How has your day been? Doing anything nice for Mothers Day? Do you have any kids?

Now onto the blog prompt. Today isn't one I'm really excited about, but I'll do it anyways (obviously). It is "5 things that irritate you about the opposite sex/same sex." I hate to say this, because it'll make me sound like SOOOOO feminist or whatever, but I really don't have much that irritates me about the same sex. At least, nothing generalized. There are things that irritate me about individual females, but not much as a whole... If anything, it'd be how females are usually quite bitchy and rude.... I don't know D:

So, onto things that irritate me about men (If you are a guy reading this, please don't take any of it personally. Again, there are specific things that irritate me depending on the person. I'm just trying to do my blog prompt.... Lol):

1. How Men can never seem to listen. You tell them something and it goes in one ear and out the other. Then two minutes later they ask you about what you had just explained to them. -Facepalm-

2. How everything is a joke. Get some sensitivity in you! If I am telling you about something serious I do not want to make a joke out of it all the time.

That's all I can really think of for the opposite sex. So... Yeah. I really really hated this blog prompt. What a waste of a day. Anyways, leave a comment, if you'd like, whatever. I hope y'all have a good Mother's Day!
