It's almost that time of the year again. Last year was one of the best times of my life.
Absolut Gotland
Yes, that's an event on Sweden's largest island, named Gotland. Basically Absolute Gotland if we are going to directly translate it. I get to dress in my ovve again! Now before I go on about explaining what this is event is, you might be wondering, what the fuck is an "ovve"? Well I shall show and tell my dear friends.

Also known as overalls, but in this swedish culture, ovvekulturen, we refer to them as ovve. I was in a student unification of sorts where we get initiated, get a special ovve-name and then go on fun events! My unification is called FästING. The ing standing for ingenjörer- meaning engineers. This was when I went to uni, which I've currently taken a break from but it hasn't stopped me from missing fun events, such as the one I'm leaving for on thursday!

"Adventures in Visby"- I needed to throw in a bad picture just showing last year at AG.
I leave on Thursday, with a beer in my hand and excitedly singling along to drinking songs on the bus and ferry towards out destination, Kneippbyn. After 3 days of long hard drinking, contests and acting like tourists in Gotland's capital city, "Visby", I'll be home at the night between Sunday and Monday.
Last year, once again was probably one of the most amazing times of my life. Gotland is an old, medieval island and it's remained as such. Beautiful, stoneblock buildings along with the streets, all in stoneblocks- no pavement. They've preserved that old look and it was so beautiful when we were there, old school buildings and just the entire atmosphere was so cozy! There were intense slopes upward, downward and any way we turned. Ugh. So much fun.
this year, I know a bit more people outside of my own group of ovverallare (overallers haha) and I think it's going to get even more fun due to that one thing. Last year we managed to snag a small cabin to sleep in, this year we unluckily weren't fast enough with signing us up so... we are camping... and it's most likely going to rain. (I am not happy haha)
Anyhoot, I am so excited I feel like crawling out of my own skin. This event is absolutely amazing and I just had to make a blog about it. I'll try to take pictures with my selfiestick (i bought one only because of ag haha) and share it all with you on here, wheater you care of not :))))))))
