I am 5 days post op after having my right leg amputated from below the knee. I have handled the pain really well but the phantom limb pain has started to become ALMOST unbearable. I would really like some help figuring out ways to help with this. I have tried the mirror trick like from greys and I am in a cast so I can not get it wet which means I am unable to take a bath.
Please, if any of you that read this is an amputee also give me some pointers. I thought I was prepared for what they felt like, but this is never what I anticipated. UGHHH.
