Okay, remember the other day when I said I was basically giving up on NaNo?
Well I lied.
Last night I got smacked with an idea.
"What if I just write a whole bunch of shorts/ficlets?"
and So I started on that.
I've already managed 5k extra words to add to my count since deciding that. So I think it's been an all around, great success.
I have about a million small ideas floating around, and none of them are really well defined enough to make into big stories, so perhaps the way forward this time is to do them all in the small chucks that they are and post them as collections. I don't really mind doing such a thing, althogh it bothers me that I havent been able to push forward with my main NaNo projects. But, I'll get to them in November I think.
I actually made myself cry last night writing a piece. It's about 3k words and I did not expect to cry when I wrote it. I'm still undecided if it's finished. I feel like it's not.
I'll think on it some more though.
