Two years ago today, I started my first day of college to be an HIT professional and today I take my RHIT exam. I totally didn't know the exam would fall on the anniversary of my having starting college, but what a nice coincidence. I'm not sure how it bodes for me, but I'm hoping it's a good sign. It's a big relief that they give you your results as soon as your done, so I don't have to wait weeks for them to mail it to me or something.
Still, though, I'm insanely nervous. If I don't pass this exam, it's $300 to retake and I can't get a job until I pass it. And I'm getting married in seven weeks, so added pressure there. Starting out married life with some savings would be really nice. My fiancé just graduated BLET and is trying to get a law enforcement job which, let me tell you, is quite a lengthy process. So, yeah, me getting a job would take some pressure off him and also give us a little more financial stability.
But, back to the exam, wish me luck guys. I only have three hours until I have to leave. Eep!
Edit: I have discovered that it is pretty much impossible to be anything but happy when listening to "Kiss You" by One Direction. It's just so catchy and gleeful.
