Hello From College

Hi everyone! I'm writing this from my dorm room at college, if you couldn't already tell. I moved in on Friday, so I've been here for about 5 days now, but I'll be honest . . . it feels like longer.

I started classes on Monday, and I like them so far. I have Political Theory and Communications 1000 on Monday-Wednesday-Friday, which is cool because I'm out by 12:05. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have math and a gender class in the morning, and then a journalism class at 2.

My math is technically called "Elementary Discrete Mathematics" and it's basically just problem solving. No formulas or equations. It's okay. I like my gender class, but my professor for my journalism class is kinda ehhhhhh so we'll see how that goes.

I like my roommate a lot. We have a lot in common and we mostly just hang out in our room together and stuff. I don't know many of the girls in my hall yet, but we've had a few hall meetings with our RA and they all seem nice.

It's been very hot, which sucks, especially since I have no AC and I'm on the 4th floor of my building. That contributes to my mood a lot. I haven't gotten lost or been late going to any of my classes, which is good (especially since I'm prone to that).

I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed and kind of lonely, which I guess is normal since it's only the first week. It's weird because my brother also goes here and I have a lot of my high school classmates here with me, too. But still.

I'm not sure if I like it yet. I know, I know, I have to give it time and whatever, and I will. So. That's me.

I'm not sure how it will affect my stories, but I've been crazy busy with settling in and doing homework and just trying to adjust, so writing will be postponed for a while. Hopefully not too long though.

ANYWAYS, that's it. Hope you're all having a good day!
