Need Advice for Braces

I just got my braces today and I have a little bit of a overbite my bottoms teeth are more in then my top ones but u can't even notice it and my dentist told me I needed to get three teeth pulled out two on the bottom and on on the top but I'm scared to do it because I have read that other people's face changes and some change in a bad way and some in a good way and I don't know what to do I have a day before I go back and I just wanted to know if anyone has had this done and if so how did everything turn out after. I also have a tooth in the front where I need a implant but hey said they can just push my teeth together and I won't need he implant . I started crying at the dentist because I really want to fix my teeth but I don't want more pulled they told me I can still get hem straigh but I will have a bite . I would put pictures but I'm on my phone if anyone had an experience like mine please tell me how it went and if you can put pictures up . I'm really scared and I want to get my teeth fixed but I just need some opinions on it .
