How Does One Write on a Phone?

For anyone who can write stories on your phone: what is your secret?! I do not have a working laptop anymore so I have been trying to write on my phone and it's maddening. My typing speed is way faster on a computer than it is a phme one and it's bothersome to me how slow I am. Not to mention, autocorrect on new phones are horrible. Now you can literally spell a word right and your phone changes it to another word it thinks you should use, just because you use it a lot.
I think I'm going to write in a notebook again. It'll take more time to copy it over but at least I'll be able to edit it as I go along.
