Happy but Conflicting Events

So, my ex from years ago, we’ll call him Watermelon, messaged me a couple of days ago. It was random but he was saying he wanted to talk and I said, “okay” and he said “I mean talk talk”, and I’m thinking ‘talk talk? What does that mean? You want to talk over the phone instead of text? Then he said, “love meeeeee, talk to meeeee”, so I told him I do love him and I really care about him, so we’ve been talking.

Turns out that “talk talk” meant to text him more often or something, not “let’s talk over the phone and have serious conversation”, which isn’t a problem for me, I’m just glad we’re talking again.
