Why Bother

I'm still working on my A.A. degree, 4 years later. I realize the only reason why I'm doing this is for my parents. Well, that and a quiet scare that maybe I won't ever get my bachelor's degree so I would at least have my A.A. degree to fall back on. To be honest though, it all seems a bit pointless. Why get my A.A. degree when it's a degree that doesn't even matter? My parents don't understand that, because they never went to college. They just see that any degree is a degree.

I think also too it has been a way to bide my time since every major I want to choose isn't going to be making money. I've tried so hard to convince myself that maybe if I get a degree in the medical field or business then I will at least be making money. But what if I lose interest in it halfway through because it's not what I really want to be doing? What if I lose interest anyways?
