My Son Has Been Born!

As of Thursday, Sept 14th, at 12:49am my little man Zane Fenix Martin has been officially welcomed into the world. He's 6lbs 7oz of just pure fussiness like his parents and although his birth hadn't been joyous like I would have wished it to be I finally got him happily in my arms. Husband and I are still learning a lot of the ropes while I am healing but we are getting there.

I ended up having to be induced due to Restricted Growth and an increased chance of stillbirth. He's only measuring at 31 weeks in term of his size, but I've delivered at 39 weeks. Despite the complications he's a happy baby, especially now that we've successfully managed to find a way of feeding he liked after dropping breast feeding, and I can't wait to see him grow up and become his own person.
