Ashes to Ashes by cruciatus. follows the story of Carter. I don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't read it (if you haven't, you should), so I'll just give a brief overview. As the story goes on, Carter finds herself slowly slipping deeper and deeper into a black hole of drug addiction, and I suspect, depression. There are snippets of back story weaved throughout the story that gives the reader an insight into her state of mind. Very, very good! cruciatus. writes the story really well, with the perfect balance between back story, action, dialogue and introspection. A very good read!
