I have achieved the daily word goal! I finished the first short story that I had planned, which had a word count that exceeded the daily word goal, which I was very happy with. I mean, a head start is what I desire when it comes to Nano. I've always struggled with keeping up, so having this small advantage makes me happy.
Unfortunately, the day was done before I could add the word count of my second short story that I started half an hour before midnight. I'm obviously the smartest woman alive.
The first short story is about an original roleplay character and his anger issues. It was fun to revisit him and his tedious ways. The second one, that I finally wrapped up, is about Damon Salvatore, who I've written years ago and God, I missed writing him.
The second short story almost leveled out my daily word goal again. Hopefully after I've woken up after a well deserved nights sleep, I'll be able to reach it and maybe even go over it again.
It was a productive first day. Every Nano writer out there, did you accomplish what you want?
