Why Can't I Let This Site Go? And Other 2018 Questions

Hey Mibs! Welcome to 2018! （＊＾Ｕ＾）人（≧Ｖ≦＊）/

The title of this sounds a little ominous, but I don't mean it to. I don't particularly think it's a bad thing I can't let this site go, but yeah. The title rings true. Mibs has a small, special place in my heart and despite not being truly active on here in years (I mean, I was probably active for a year and then the worst updater ever ಥ_ಥ) and having nothing really substantial bringing me back, I keep doing it!

I mostly just lurk the blogs. I don't read here at all anymore, and I check the forums very, very infrequently. Mostly just the blogs, I read a lot more of your guys' blogs than you think. My commenting frequency, however, that's way lower. I mostly just check on my phone, sweep through, and then leave. My bad (╯︵╰,).

Maybe I'll start recommending blogs. Do you guys like that? Is that a thing, like a vote on a story? Or are you just kind of like "why are you recommending my blog". Genuinely curious.

I don't read here, I don't post here, I don't have any friends here- why do I keep coming back? I should be dedicating my time to Wattpad, since that's where all three of those things are actively happening, but I can't quite quit Mibba cold turkey.

It's a nice break? The lack of expectations from everything? Blogs are my favourite feature- there are forums on Wattpad, but they're not that great. No blog feature, and it's so crowded anyways. Mibba's a lot smaller and more personal, so I like it. (`･ω･´)

I'm probably gonna be re-posting Homophobe on Wattpad because it's one of my fav stories and I'd like to share it with more people, but it feels kind of weird. Kinda like an even bigger Mibba goodbye. But not really, I mean, I am a sucker for my blog layout, I worked pretty hard on it ahahaha.

I think I'm just a hopeless nostalgic, it's been years and I still like seeing that there are people that use Wattpad. I'm actually unsure of how stories are- I guess people still post, but blog wise it's comforting to see that people see use this site. Dujo seems completely MIA so I wonder if he'll ever just stop paying the domain and have it shut down. Hopefully the ad money helps it keep up, but who knows?
