Hi all!
I finally updated everything; it's been a while bc I finished my first semester of nursing school (!!!!) and was sort of dead for a few days, but I managed to revive myself bc school started back up two days later. Yay? At least I passed all of my finals, thank GOD. I'm halfway through second semester now and it's honestly pretty chill. I only have two classes per session for the next two months, so I hope to get a lot more writing done then!

NEW PETS. Story of my damn life, lmao. So last year (specifically three days after my 25th birthday), we decided we needed another dog, which would mean a fourth dog for us.
So what did we do?
Yup. You guessed it. We adopted another dog -- a yellow Labrador, whom we named Zeus. The name doesn't fit him, imo. Anyways! My Zeus-y Goose-y Moose-y Baby turned a year old about ten days ago and just. Guys. He's so beautiful. I shit you not. LOOK. AT. HIM.
He makes these absolutely hilarious SONAR noises when he's happy and especially when he's eating. He gives the best kisses and is my pile of warm mashed potatoes. He's such a sweetheart and I looooove him!
My mom also got me another little friend bc I worked hard on my finals and passed all of them. This is Hamlet!
I was a hamster mommy in the past, but I could NOT deal with their immensely short lifespans. So. Uh. The next best thing is a guinea pig! Hamlet is an amazing little guy. He's super sweet and spoiled -- I line his crate with fleece; get him nice, soft bedding; the best food I could buy; the nicest cage; cookies and treats for him, you name it, he got it -- and boy, does he know it. He loves being picked up and snuggled into one of my jackets or pants; he really, really likes pockets. He also makes super cute noises when he's happy, especially before we go to bed. I've also discovered that when you pet him somewhere that he likes, he'll get the guinea pig equivalent of the chills and chatter his teeth and I just lkafjldakjfdlsakj. I died. Animals are so beautiful and amazing. (:
