#13 - Writing Isn't a Skill

Nobody is born to write.

Most people don't write.

Almost everyone think writing is hard.

But people want to write.

They read writing books and attend seminars.

They learn the writing process, methods and strategies.

They practice what they've learned.

You would think that they be in a right track.

And you would be shocked.

Most of them not only write bad, but also they hate writing and give up soon after.

About writing.

Most people are confusing, even delusional.

Few people are telling the truth.

Among all of what writing teachers and instructors would say.

There is a claim.

"Writing is a skill and it can be learned."

People believe this claim.

They believe it whole-heartedly.

And they think it is their own fault that they write poorly.

This claim is false and very difficult to detect.

Do you think that breathing is a skill, we've learned from pratice?

Do you think that laughing is a skill, we've learned from our parents?

Do you think that crying is a skill, we've learned from movies?

Like all of those things, writing is not a skill.

Writing is like breathing, laughing or crying.

* Writing is a way to express our feelings and thoughts. *

Just like we laugh when we feel funny, we cry when we feel sorrowful.

We write when we feel the urge to express.

No other way to know how to write.

Just write what the psyche and heart lead you.

Nothing else can teach you to write.

You have feelings and thoughts.

You want to share.

And then you know what to write and how to write it.

At the beginning.

Lack vocabulary and poor grammar.

You read.

Don't know what to write.

You go to make conversations with other people.

Then.

Write short stories, blogs or articles.

At the end.

You would write anything you want comfortably and freely.

**

Remember.

Whatever you write, write your best.

Treat every writing as the most important piece in your life.

Treat your readers as the most important people in the world.

And write as frequently and regularly as possible.

Until writing becomes a habit like breathing.

**

Lots of interesting things to write about.

Lots of cool people to communicate.

Countless opportunities for people who write well.

Writers are among the most satisfied and fulfilled in the world.

Let's write.

Let's write everything everyday.

Again I am open to discuss.

Thanks for your time and good luck!
