So, I love Mibba. I've been on mibba since 2009, I started on another account as JimmySullivanRIP but Lost the password and email to the account. So I moved over here when I got the muse to write again, but seeing as the site is just getting glitchy and laggy. (Holds up a missing person sign for Dujo) I've been exploring other writing sites and figured I'd come here and just share them with you guys.
The first is of course Wattpad -
It's more like an e-book sorta place they don't have as much customization for your stories as Mibba has but it's got a lot more stories on it and interactive stuff.
pros and cons:
- It's easy to get started but hard to get noticed.
- The admins there are very very strict.
- they can delete your account and all your work without even telling you.
- they'll flag for copywrite on pretty much anything that even resembles anyone else writing.
I'm on that site as : xMoralsAreDead
The next site I found is more based on people who are interested in Teen writing and writing for teens.
While I'm not a teen, my sister is a teen and she's also into writing so we have checked out a site called
Underlined since I myself am not a teen writer I'm not too big a fan of this one, but they do have some pretty decent stories on there. Most of them centered around Harry Potter.
The one I just found earlier today and I've yet to explore it is: Quotev
It seems like a very active site for fanfiction, fiction and Non-fiction stories from a variety of authors.
NOW -- Before you all jump on me and give me a lecture. Mibba is my HOME it will always be my HOME it's where I started my writing, where I posted my very first stories. It's got the only stories I've ever finished on it, including three NaNoWriMo champion stories that I completed. I know the staff are trying their best to fix things, I've just been looking for options in case the elusive Dujo doesn't come back.
MY heart is always a Mibba heart.
Even tho when I mention Mibba people don't know what that is. (lol I feel old)
much love, As.
