Anybody new?

So, yeah.
I've been here for about two weeks, and all I've seen are accounts and forums from twelve years ago. Also, all the other users intimidate me.
If anybody wants to say something, recommend a story or poem, go for it. A contest, multiple author project, anything except for online inappropriate saxophones replaced with an 'e', cool.
If anybody else is new, feel free to message me because I'm really bad at initiating conversation (online or offline) and will probably say something along the lines of:
So, like jelly and fruit tea in a plastic cup?
I'm just bored. And pretty lonely.
