Hey Ya'll!
I have looked high and low for this story written on here a few years ago. Of course I can't remember the name of the story or the author. But here's what I do know (there will be spoilers):
- Main character's name was Charlie. But her kidnapper called her Lola.
- Her Dad was the Sheriff and she had a little brother. They lived in a small town. The mom died before the story took place.
- Kidnapper and the Sheriff were friends throughout their whole lives.
- Her kidnapper was a therapist who had a southern accent. But when he was holding her hostage, he dropped it.
- She was kept in a "cave" of sorts with 3 other girls. They had been there for years.
- After escaping, she - unknowingly - lived with her kidnapper.
- The story's last update was her discovering who he was and trying to get away. Her Dad then shows up and gets shot by kidnapper.
If anyone knows who wrote this story or what story this is PLEASE let me know! It's been driving me crazy the past few weeks cause I cannot find it anywhere! And I loved this story and want to re-read it.
