Oh yea…Fall Out Boy concert on 3rd of April 2007
Er, well, me and my parents and little brother picked CJ up at like half 5.
And we made our way to Manchester.
My little brother took an 8 minute long vid of the journey.
Idk why. There’s like 2 seconds of me and CJ then the rest is of the cars going past. But you can hear Thriller, The Take Over The Breaks Over and This Ain’t A Scene in the background.
Anyway, back to the reason behind this journal.
We arrived in Manchester. The queue was well long and it was FREEZING cold
So we decided to sit in the car until the queue started moving
We had seats so it didn’t matter what time we went in really.
Then my brother looked out of the window and down this dark alley was this black dude hiding behind the corner.
And every so often he’d lean forward and stare at us in the car.
Then he moved over to the other side of the alley so it was easier to stare at us.
Me and CJ were freaking out and my mum was trying to calm us down cause she didn’t want trouble with some random dude in Manchester.
So THEN he started walking towards the car…was right freaky.
He disappeared but we kept randomly seeing him walk up the road every so often.
Cause me, CJ and my mum were freaked out my dad said he’d move the car.
So we moved over to the garage place across the road from the Apollo
And got out of the car cause the queue was moving.
My dad came with me and CJ to the end of the queue so we could give him our jackets before we came in.
Queue moved quickly
My dad took our jackets.
We went in the Apollo.
What do we always do at concert?
We raced to the merch stall and got a blacky blue coloured Clandestine hoodie
Like the red one but different.
Then we found our seats. They were quite decent actually.
We found that as we sat down the 1st support band were already playing =/
They’re called Shiny Toy Guns and are AWESOME.
Seriously, listen to them.
We saw Peter Wentz watching them @ stage side in a BRIGHT green hoodie.
CJ noticed it was a woman lead singer and was like =O
Cause we don’t usually like bands with female lead singers IDK why haha
Well, with exception to The Hush Sound.
But by the time they were finished we had fallen in love with them.
They’re ace.

Then their set finished and there was a half an hour break.
So we went to get a drink.

Now, we didn’t know that Shiny Toy Guns would be playing
But we knew about Cobra Starship
And we didn’t even listen to them before the gig =/
Anyway
They came onstage and were seriously awesome.
I fell in love with the lead singer, Gabe. He’s amazing.
He reached into the crowd and goes ‘WHOA you made a doll of me?! Thanks!! Oh…what? This is Joe Trohman? Ahhh riiight. Well, we look alike.’ And gave the doll back.
Then he said he loved the UK cause of glow sticks cause apparently they don’t have them @ gigs in America.
Alex- ‘Dude, if I drink this shit what’ll happen to me?’
Gabe- ‘I don’t know, maybe you’ll go all awesome and glowy!!!!!’
Alex- *pretends to drink* *does a weird dance thing*
Gabe- ‘SEE! I told you!’
They did their version of Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stafani [[sp?]]
Which was amazing.
Then they did the song they recorded for Snakes On A Plane, and got a girl onstage to do the rap. She was awesome @ it and I was well jealous cause she got a hug off Gabe haha.
Then they had to go =[ I almost cried…ok I didn’t but yea.

Lol, sorry bout that. Listen to them and you’ll get it.
Yet another half an hour break. This one was seemed longer than the other. Me and CJ filmed ourselves doing weird things.
Cause we ARE weird.
Listened to Green Day’s American Idiot album being blared from the bar.
Then went back to our seats =]
Fall Out Boy came onstage.
Cant remember their set that much…but they only played Thriller, The Take Over The Breaks Over, This Ain’t A Scene, Golden and Thanks For The Memories off Infinity on High.
Which I suppose is good cause I <3 FUCT and TTTYG
But it’s the INFINITY ON HIGH tour…
I was dead happy cause they played Grand Theft Autumn tho…<3 that!
Patrick was on the stage on his own for Golden…awww! He was amazing and was actually rocking out, head banging [[not in Golden OBV]]. They did a rockier version of the ending bit of Golden which was AMAZING.
To be honest, it was a bit repetitive. We went to see them on May 23rd last year and it was basically the same…even the bits Peter was saying to the crowd.
Dirty did this thing where he invited two kids on stage and got them to kick him where it hurts.
I have no idea why…
Then he danced to DanceDance. He’s ace.
It finished, we went outside
And decided to wait
And wait
And wait.
They took pizza in but no one came out.
We waited till 12am then decided to go.
To be honest? I was more gutted that Cobra Starship didn’t come out…
Gabe told us to go out to see him after.
