Album Recommendations??

Ok well my parents asked me to write a list of CD's I'd like for Xmas cos if they picked they'd probably end up getting me Pop Hits or High School Musical Soundtrack or something... lol
And well, they keep pestering me about it and I have a couple but does anyone have any good album recommendations??

Oh yeah, did anyone see Hollyoaks today?
I havent watched it in ages but decided to watch it today and two guys (I never remember anyone's name in tv programmes =P) were teasing these emoish boy and girl and they said something along the lines of:
"So kind of music are you into? Do you like... oh what's that band called... My Chemical Romance?" and the emo guy says "pshyeah if i was an 8 year old girl!"
Haha even though I find that totally RUDE lol I burst out laughing at it, and my dad was watching it too and he looked at me and laughed too, so yeah it was weird...

Anywhoo any good albums to recommend??
