The Whole Foxboro Hot Tubs Deal

I find it funny how a majority of the people I have had listen to them absolutely detest Green Day with a passion end up liking The Foxboro Hot Tubs, until they find out it is Green Day (or at least Billie Joe).

I'll have them give it a listen and they'll be like "Wow, are you in a new band or something?" and then when I say "No, you'll never guess who it is," they make a few worthy guesses and end up being wrong. Then when I say it's Green Day they go "No, fucking way!" and then they change the "Man this is really good" to "Oh, well it's okay".

Seriously, one of my friends came into work today and I let them give them a listen and when I said it was Green Day he choked on his coffee, which I thought was pretty funny actually. He was one of the very few that actually stayed with the "this is still really good".

Anyway, I think they're alright. I like "Highway 1" the best and "Mother Mary" is alright.
