I just saw someone else posted a Journal about their Chicago Accent.

It just reminded me of this time at school lol.

I live like 40 miles north of Boston.
A mot of people in my town don't have an accent at all. Some how, they just don't have it. My mom and Dad don't really have it. So we were in our Science class, and the teacher is going on and on about how he doesn't have an accent. I can't hear my accent, I think I talk normal, Like completely normal so he was like say"_*insert word*_" around the room. So he goes to me: "Say Fire." So I go "Fire." Or so I thought. In fact I actually say "Fiya" and the whole class starts laughing. So for the rest of the class, kids were having me say things. NEVER EVER "Pahk the cah in havahd yahd." (Park the car in harvard yard) It will get towed. honestly. So, now my mom and all my friends make fun of my cuz of my accent. Just thought you guys would think thats funny.
