Tomorrow I leave for Chicago to visit with family for the holidays. I've been to Chicago many times, but really only to visit with family, who live in the suburbs. The only time I really got to walk around the city and see it for myself was maybe eight years ago. This time we're taking two days and seeing it. One for visiting The Art Institute there, because I was accepted there and another for me to roam and do whatever I want. Anyone know of any good underground music clubs? Thrift stores? Music stores that preferably sell vinyl? Or just any interesting shops that have interesting things?
I plan on going to some of the art museums and Navy Pier. I'm so stoked! Next to the bay area I've always loved Chicago.
