You know what really pisses me off? Stereotypes. I hate it when you walk down the street and you get 'goth' and 'emo' thrown at you, and I'm like, what the hell, I'm trying to walk my dog here!

I also hate it when people try and stereotype themselves, you know. They completely change who they are so they can hang out with people, get into their clique you know? Like my friend was in to sporty stuff and dance music and RnB, but then she changed into an 'emo' so she could fit in with her friends.

I hate being stereotyped as 'emo' just because I like wearing stripey socks and skinny jeans and Converse. I hate being called a 'goth' because I like wearing black and dark make up.

Just be who you are, don't try and fit in with the crowds, don't be a sheep, and don't take any shit from anybody. And in the famous words of Gerard Way: "Don't let them take you alive."
