About the I'm The New Emo In Town poem

Quote
'DOOM! "

My life spells doom for the rest of you.
Cause I am the new emo in town and
there's nothing you can do
to lift the gloom.

My sorrow spreads like virus,
and my happiness is a zero minus.

My smile would just be a glimmer
Man, I do all this for the glamour
because seriously, that's what
emo's all about.

I love to shut up one corner,
sit down and mourn at the sky.
Maybe take that gun and
then just die.

I am sure it would be paradise
instead of living my emo lies.

My emo-ness is like a deep black hole
that would suck my mind whole.
I listen to AFI Cut,
and then I cut cut cut.

Go to school and show off the cuts,
and be proud that I'm retard.

I cringed at the pain
but it helps me to be sane.
But who cares,
I am just an emo spaz
to bring the doom
and worsen your gloom.

"DOOM!"
Okay, I want to straighten things out. This poem I have written a few days back had so many people disapprove of it. I understand that since its offensive because it is easily interpreted as putting down the emos.

What I had meant to write about is the kind of stereotype thinking that the emos get when they go to school, how generally parents view them as bad due to the image. That's what I know people usually say about emos, in school for example. They say emos cut for the attention and stuff.

AND I know all that isn't true.I have been even label emo and you think I don't get hurt because of it?

I see it as funny because I think what people think of people-who-are-labelled-emos is really crappy. And by writing out this poem, I intended to make it as sarcastic as possible, so call to lash out at people who say these kind of things. I did not expect that people would get so hurt about it. Fine, you guys don't share the same kind of humour as I do.

I have deleted the poem before it gets out of hand. And its truly unfair that I got put down because of misunderstanding.

Now, I hope you understand and see the poem in a new light.
