Reincarnation as Gerard's microphone + Nets game = Fun!!

Okay, so yesterday was kinda sorta lovely...let me tell you the story. =)

As always, the day started out with school *sigh*. It was a usual boring day until Lit class, which had a very unusual surprisingly awesome moment!!

We were interpreting Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poems...they're mostly about death (emo poet of the 1600s much? lol), and for some reason we got on the subject of reincarnation. My lit teacher was explaining what that was (even though we're high school sophomores and we kinda know that already) and these were her exact words:

"You can be reincarnated as anything. An elephant, another human..."

She turns to me.

"...My Chemical Romance's guitar pick!"

My reaction = O_O

But then I told her I'd rather be the microphone, and she glances at my Gerard Way necklace & pins on my blazer and says "Oh, yeah, sorry. Microphone!"

Awesome. xD

Moving on to later that night....I went to a New Jersey Nets game with my parents, and actually enjoyed it. Kinda surprising since I'm not a sports person. haha.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun, and I met a few of the players afterwards (Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Josh Boone). Very nice guys, may I add. =)

So, uh huh, that was my day yesterday. Thanks for reading this pointless journal. lol
