Let's start at the beginning of this long story. There is a boy who for personal reasons, we will call him Bob. So back in August Bob and I met basically via myspace. We knew we both went to the same school so we met up at a local show. We kept talking alot both in person and on AIM and I developed strong feelings for him. As soon as I realize these feelings, he tells me that he is in an online relationship with a girl from Chicago. Keep in mind, we live in the middle of Texas. This was in about October. I relaxed but we ended up going to a Paramore concert together. It was wonderful. It was about a week later that I told him I liked him. I also told him that he was too great of a friend to lose and I hoped that things wouldn't be awkward between us. Since then, things haven't! We have been hanging out more than we used to, and he has been staying at my house til 2 or 3 in the morning. I honestly have no idea what to do. I don't know if I should wait like my friends say because apparently "online relationships never work. he is only hurting himself." or just give up and move on?
I'm just asking for advice and help because I am confused I just keep falling for him
