"A Standard Form of Beauty"

"Look at what the world determines as a standard form of beauty" she said this morning.

Automatically, my mind screamed "What does it matter to me if the world accepts it as beautiful?"

I'd only see it as beautiful if I truly meant it. I don't care what the rest of the world thinks. The standard form of beauty is simply overrated. Anything can be beautiful to anyone. Take this for an example, I love my pet tarantula Vada, and other people simply hate spiders. I love her and I think she's beautiful, others don't. Standards are for under-achievers.
