xbox 360 help?

I've had my xbox since christmas and just yesterday figured out xbox live.

the only problem is that now when i go to play my games through my live account, all my saved stuff is gone. Does anyone know of a way that i can fix it? like merge both my offline account and my live account so that when i log into my live account, i can have all my old stuff on there?
