[font-3]I am so angry at the moment as if you couldn't tell.....
AND it's to do with MCR....
I was talking to some distant kinda relatives about music and everything. I was with my brother and two other people who I am not naming....but My Chemical Romance came into the conversation. One of these people said:
Their music is very dark and very depressing
And the other person said
It's so slit-your-wrists
So I went crazy. I started ranting but they didn't listen to me. It makes me so angry. Just because MCR wear black, don't have highlighted blonde hair and songs about how girls throw themselves at Frankie DOES NOT MEAN THEY'RE DEPRESSING. They save lives and save people from depression. They don't encourage self harm and they've certainly helped me through the darkest period of my life. Some of their stuff is dark but life's dark for some people and it help us and reminds us we're not alone.
And I know lots of people who have attempted self harm. Self harm is for people who need help, who arevery depressed. Why is self harm cliched with black clothes and MCR songs?!
It makes me soooooo angry. MCR DON'T ENCOURAGE SELF HARM!!!
And people say the whole self harm thing to me because I wear black, listen to MCR and Evanescence, write poetry and have some rather unhealthy obsessions with the after life-AND?!
Grr.....I get angry too easily
