Dream Theater was amazing.

It’s almost 2pm, and I just woke up. I feel practically zombified, and my ribs still cane from the pressure of not being able to breathe for three and a half hours.

For a little explanation, I just got back from the Dream Theater gig in Sydney. It was a pit of screaming, clawing, saturated human filth… So it was fantastic. Like all good metal concerts, it fulfilled its fair share of casualties, and the pits were so packed that people kept passing out for lack of oxygen. The guy beside me even lost a tooth. I had to donate a few solid cracks to the jaws of people who lacked respect for my kidneys, but alas, that’s the way these things go. That's what you get for being up front.

At any rate, I think I can safely say that that was the best concert experience I have ever had. And so, if I am not online for a little while, you’ll know why.

It may also amuse some of you to know that upon waking in my irrational state, I attempted to cut my own hair- minor disaster. It is at any rate less of a mane, although I probably won’t be seen in public for quite some time.

Take care and talk to you soon,

Cheers,
Frank.
