Apologies for the absence.

So it seems that I have not been online for quite some time. Or at least, I have not been around for what qualifies as some time on the internet. And as you may have gathered, I am frequently not as devoted to cyberspace as I could be...

Life will have its way, and I've been hitting my own hard times, as I am wont to do now and then. I've just had a first-hand reminder of how difficult it is to listen to the kind of reassurances I so frequently dish out. Other than that, I've been tied up in Sydney, visiting Nikki's relatives and seeing as many concerts as my body can tolerate. On the rare occasions I've been home, I've either been too tired or depressed for the internet. And so, I apologise for my absence, especially to those I told I'd be around. I am working to make amends.

...Alas, but this simply will not do! Updates are coming on the story, for anyone who might be reading it, and you can expect to be plagued by my presence on the chat... just as soon as I've had a recovery nap.
