My Chemical Romance aren't a fantasy.

So I have this new teacher for English. She's...not the best teacher, which is a shame, since I was looking forward to English and we're concentrating on stories for this topic.

She asked us to write a summary for an on-the-spot story we would tell. This is mine, word for word.

The story of how a New Jersey band overcame the obstacles, criticism and stereotypical labels in order to inspire thousands of people around the world, break the preconceived expectations and limitations placed on them and to save lives.

You can probably guess who I'm talking about.

Then she asked us to write a 'real' story. One based in 'real life'. And she thought mine was fictional, and I realised that it does sound it.

BUT THEY'RE NOT. They're real, and they're tangible, and they inspire and save lives and they're amazing.

THEY ARE NOT FICTIONAL.
