concept albums and the nature of reality

i've been thinking recently about the nature of reality, getting to the old everything is nothing conclusion. but is that anywhere near the truth? if you go into it looking for that conclusion that's the conclusion you'll reach. so it's a pretty stupid persuit if know have any prior knowledge.... so really it's never going to work.

otherwise i've been listening to a lot of concept albums... they've gone from the depressing, the likes of NIN's 'the downward spiral' and Pink Floyd's "the wall" showing the darkness of the human soul.... and then there's the wierd, ELO's "time" is a bit crazy..... and then there are albums that are barely concept albums like David Bowie's "the rise and fall of ziggy stardust and the spiders from mars".....

yes i'm a nerd, but i'm enjoying it.
