A few truths.

There are a lot of things I hide about myself.
Vulnerabilities, flaws, indiscretions.

Behind my crazy hair and pierced nose is a girl who likes the finer things in life.
A sip of the perfect wine.
A clean house.
Fresh flowers.
The smell of cookies baking, made from scratch.

Yes, as much as I try to hide it I rather like domestic things.

This is one part of my personality I used to try and stifle.
I always wanted to be in a rock band, and aprons and oven mitts hardly go with that, but not long ago I though to hell with that bullshit!

Yes I want to be young and crazy for a while, but there is no shame in wanting to settle down and get married one day.

People should be able to have choices. They should be able to choose to have a career, or be a homemaker, or have a go at both.

That is REAL freedom.
