Another Confusing Thought

Here's a new theory I made up:

Our lives on what we like to call earth are actually dreams. While we exist in this reality, our true selves are actually in our sleeping state. This would make this the "dream realm", or something very much like that. This dream state, our mortal lives in short, would last until a person is born until they die. Short lifespans could very well be the result of someone waking "you" up in "reality", or simply being someone who sleeps less. Since the average person lives around 80 years, this can be our measurement for the days and nights in the other realm, which is in fact "reality". If you took all this for fact, the you could presume that the average human would be reincarnated every 80 years, or rather the "real" them would go to sleep. 80 years for "us", would be more like 12 hours to "them". AS a result, a human would be reincarnated every 80 years. Since this is the dream realm, time would probably be irrelevant, depending on the "dreamer", and so these reincarnations could be "born" in our past or future. Theoretically, one could meet ones reincarnation, but wouldn't know it because in the dreaming state one does not have knowledge of "Reality". In short, all our lives are simply short and probably meaning less dreams. Cheerful thought huh?

Yeah.... I got bored in Social Studies. And if you followed my logic, you are skilled. Please comment! I want to know what you think of my rambling!
