Happy birthday to the most amazing man in the world. (plus dodgeball!)

In about 2 1/2 hours where I live (northern NJ), it will be April 9, 2008...also known as Gerard Way's 31st birthday! Now, I know this site will soon be flooded with journals on this topic (you're probably already sick of hearing about it...haha), but I've been looking forward to posting a really nice birthday journal for Gerard all day...so bear with me! =D

Well...I really don't know exactly what to say. See, I have so much that I want to say, but somehow the words won't come out right. They just don't sound good enough, you know?
I guess, if Gerard were somehow (miraculously) reading this journal, all I'd really want to do is thank him. I'd want to thank him for everything he's done for me and for so many other kids, for being a phenomenally talented musician, and most of all, just for being the amazing, wonderful person that he is. I'd want to thank him for always seeming to be there when my life gets fucked up, even if he's not physically there, and I'd tell him that even though I've only known of him for a very short time compared to his 31 years alive, it feels as if I've known him forever.

All right, now that I've poured my emotions all over you (sorry), I may as well make up for it by telling you about HOW I PWNED AT DODGEBALL TODAY (not)! =P
Today was the annual dodgeball tournament at my high lamest year ever. Out of 300 or so girls at my school, only 2 teams actually signed up--me and my friends against a bunch of really hyped-up older kids.

In case you didn't guess already, they were the ones who pwned us.
But, hey, we won 2nd place! xDDD

Don't worry though, after the "game", I lifted my spirits by going to Danny Dinosaur's house and making our signature molasses cookies (they are awesome, you really should try some. xD) [/random]
