Is It A Question Of Ego? Or Of Bravado?

I was accused yesterday of having an oversized ego...
Which made me think about myself.
And I've come to the conclusion that they must have been mistaken.
I have very little ego, as I think very little of myself.

But I know, through experience, that going around, thinking very little of yourself and making it clear for the world to see just puts you in a situation where everything people say to you puts you down.

So really, it's not ego, but bravado. I put on a false 'I am better than you' attitude, because it's the surest way I've discovered to make sure that people back off and leave you alone.

In other news, I'm still head over heels for one Mr. Hill, but meh.
I saw him yesterday, was nice.
I've got his birthday present, and it's expensive. Tickets to see The Jersey Boys, because I know he wants to go ^.^

Yay for me.
