The Orgin of Sami Mantis

The nickname I mean... But my real full first name is Samantha. Not very interesting is it? And the only nicknames you can really get from it are Sam, Sammy or Mantha...

Now, my mom wanted to be "cool" so she started calling me Sami and just spelled it differently... Let me tell you that going through 14 years with just Sami as a nickname get on your nerves... and fast too...

So my best friend Brin, being the person that she is, took Samantha and somehow made it into Sami Mantis. And since I'm not someone for long names I just shorten it to Mantis.
