Does my being a straightedge really matter that much?

It seems like it does. Because lately, people at my school are giving me total crap for it.

Saying "I don't know how to have fun".

Let me tell you something: I DON'T NEED DRUGS TO HAVE FUN.

I don't do drugs.
I don't smoke.
I don't drink.
I don't have sex.

If you have a problem with that, then get over it.

I'm not a judgmental person at all. So it makes me really mad when people give me crap for my decision.

A girl in one of my classes asked me if "I liked being straightedge" like it was a freakin cult that I was forced into, or something stupid like that. It's MY CHOICE.

Nobody convinced me to do this. If anything, people have been trying to convince me NOT too. Everyone thinks I'm a freak because of it.

It makes me want to scream!

My best friend smokes, and isn't a virgin. Do I care? No. Because its her life. And I'll still love her no matter what.
