I went to the first day of Bamboozle 2008 yesterday, and I'm so fucking sore, but it was SO worth it!
Now, gather 'round, because it's story time!
Well, my day started off pretty slow, because it took me a million years to find my friends around the huge venue, so I missed Secondhand Serenade and Cute Is What We Aim For =(
However, I ended up seeing Metro Station instead, who I thought were really good. Their song "Shake It" is now in it's permanent home on my iPod. xD
The next concert was Aiden, which was one of the bands I was most excited to see. They were awesome, and I got a really good spot, too. The best part was definitely during "One Love", when WiL told the crowd to "get the fuck down!" during the verses and jump up during the chorus. =D
After Aiden, I was supposed to see The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, but unfortunately it took me another million years to find my other friend and meet up with everyone else I was there with.
But the next concert totally made up for it. It was the main reason I came. The one, the only, Mindless Self Indulgence!
Their concert was FUCKING AMAZING. I was pressed up against the stage on the right side. I've never been so close in my life, and if I had claustrophobia, I swear I would have died. xD
Jimmy was his perverted self as always, introducing the band as "Hannah Montana!" and saying that he apologizes for the topless photos, and next time they're gonna be "fully nude!" My friends and I kept trying to scream "WE LOVE YOU, JIMMY!" but he didn't hear us. =( But all was well when Lyn-Z came over to my side of the stage, directly above me, and pointed at me. Teehee!
After MSI, I was totally exhausted with more than 2 hours left until our next concert, so basically my friend Liz and I just kind of walked around the venue a million times, buying MSI merch, eating soft pretzels, watching Tokio Hotel, (Ready, Set, Go! pwns the world) and looking for the Aiden signing, which we never found. =( But we did meet the band Our Last Night and got posters signed by them. One of the guys gave me a high-five when I told him they were awesome. =D
After Liz and I hung around for a while, it was time to watch From First To Last. It was another amazing set, and we met all of them afterwards at their merch booth. They were really nice, and Liz gave one of them her Mardi Gras beads that were around her neck. =)
The signing was so long and so hard to get out of that we actually missed the first ten minutes of Paramore, but we got there and had to watch the whole thing from way back since it was so crazy in the crowd. But it was worth it...Hayley's so adorable in person!
After Paramore was finished, my friends all had to leave, so after they left I convinced my dad to watch Jeffree Star with me, who was already ten minutes into his set. But as soon as he heard the chorus in "We Want C**t", I was forced to leave. xD
So, yeah, BAMBOOZLE WAS FUCKING AMAZING! I couldn't have asked for a better time! =DD

P.S. - To my fellow Mibbians, I won't be here all this week, because on Wednesday I'm going to see MCR in Philadelphia and again in New York on Friday, so my week's kinda filled up. But, I promise I'll come back and journal all about them on Saturday! Love you all!
