My Mothers' Day.

I love Mothers' Day, because it's the one day that I'm able to care for my mom and have her relax all day! I get to tell her how much I love and appreciate her.
For Breakfast, my dad made her lemon curd pancakes (which are absolutely FABULOUS and sooooo amazing!)
I drew her two pictures (she loves when I draw things for her cubicle) and gave her this antique plate of Neushwanstein castle.
I had to study and do homework, while she and my father went out and bought a ton of flowers to plant around my house (a tradition).
Then we watched a bunch of our favorite Mother-themed movies on Turner Classic Movies channel. We watched "Mildred Pierce" (a favorite of ours), "The Mating Season" (a really great one that featured one of my favorite actresses-Thelma Ritter), and one of our all-time favorites "I Remember Momma"
I helped my dad cook dinner. I made the mashed potatos and asparagi, and my dad showed me how to cook steak (one day he'll teach me how to do it all by myself).
We have had a great time! I hope all your mothers had a great day too! :-)
