I've been hearing Powerspace's music since 2006. Those boys have been in my life for two years. Recently, Dan McMahon (the bassist) has left the band.
The band has chosen not to give a reason for his leaving of the band, but they have stated that it was for "creative and personal issues" amongst the band members and that his decision was for the best.
However, they've also stated that Dan plans to remain in the music industry and that they are still close friends, regardless of him leaving.
That last part made me happy. But just the fact that the original Powerspace line-up that I grew to love is so little now.
Originally, there was Dan, Alec, Tom, and Kevin. Throw in a guy named Max Perenchio (I think...), remove Dan, and throw in some other bassist, and you have the new Powerspace.

Aw well, they haven't changed. The music is still their music, ya know? Plus, I heard Alec and Kevin have been coming out with some new stuff, so I'm stoked!
