Slam Dunk '08- Leeds Uni!

Got to the uni at 8:00, Jenny and milly weren't there >.< rofl

When they finally got there we went to talk to them and the girls that were already there were being right bitches to us.

I hate them >.< rofl.

And then we went to the end of the queue, and the girls that were infront of us there were right 2 faced ugh >.<

Damn them.

Anyway, more people started turning up, then vans started turning up, and yeh we sat around for ages.

Heather decided to like shout at band members to buy Lewis, and get them to talk to us =] was amusing.

Then Tim and his crew were loading things into the venue, which was funny cos he obvs got annoyed that we knew his name xD

Then some tech dude from Zebrahead actually talked to us for ages, about passing GCSE's while high on weed, and he actually passed lol.

Then like loads more bands walked past,

And we had a massive convo with one person, then after like five minutes:

'what band are you in?'

'the gayest longest band name ever'

-thinks-

'cute is what we aim for'

'yep'

'ZOMG CAN YOU SIGN THIS PLEASE, AND CAN WE HAVE A PICTURE'

'-smiles-'

Aha, poor Jeff, I totally feel sorry for him.

Snoz was like walking around, I was really shy to say hi, but I did, he was so nice to us =]

But I got a call from heather and all I heard was 'sean' and 'road' then she hung up, I was like shaking enough just with talking to Snoz, but with Sean like at the other side of the road, my heart was beating so fast rofl.

So yeh, I ran to the other side of the road, and there was sean, with his cool glasses xD

I got a pic with him, and he signed my ticket, and James, Gavin and Matthew were in the van totally getting ignored by everyone so i spoke to them =]

Then we left them too it, but layla didn't follow, she was still with sean rofl, so I went to find her and she asked him for a hug and she like jumped on him and wouldn't let go,

Sean looked so nervous rofl, I had to literally peel her off him,

I was embarrassed for her, xD poor Sean

Yeh then we left, I dragged layla away while laughing my head off at her.

On the way back we bumped into Aled from KIGH, and we got a pick with him, he didn't seem like much of a prick, I don't know what The Humour were on about =/ lol

Yeh after that we went back to the queue xD
it was nearly time for the doors.

But them bitched from earlier were being such arses,

I actually HATE them so much.

then we heard a sound check, and it was Boyslikegirls soundchecking, me milly and jenny were like stood outside the doors bopping along to it aha

it was 5 Minutes To Midnight and Hero-Heroine, it sounded so good!
and they were the songs we didnt see when we went to see them =]

When we got in we were at the barrier.

Hardly any one was there to watch the atticus winners, but they were so good.

Throwing Paper Aeroplanes, what an awesome name =D

They did a cover of Rhianna, it was really good =]

Then there was a break before We Are The Ocean, they were amazing, the bouncer people were obviously getting annoyed with him jumping in the crowed cos the wire kept getting caught in people lol.

But ye, their guitarist was so arrogant when we were queuing though, he like didn't say hi at all.

But he got locked out of the bus, which we laughed about for ages, fail at him.

Flood Of Red and Brigade were awesome, but really arnt ones that I will remember.

Then it was time for the band I personally was waiting for.

THE BLACKOUT.

Omfg they were amazing, Sean decided to hang from the ceiling, and he got in the crowd a lot, omg I will remember that for ages

They started with Tick, Tick, Boom, then they went into I've Got Better Things To Do Tonight Than Die, and during Spread Legs Not Lies, he told everyone to crowd surf, which wasn't fun for us at the front, but I didn't care, I was too busy enjoying myself, Sean kept picking on the poor girl bouncer person at the front which was funny.

They ended with Riot, which was so good, I was literally screaming every lyric back at them, awh man, I cant wait for their October tour!

Fightstar were next, only like managed 4 songs, of which I knew 3, then I had to get out, but the 4 songs I stayed for were amazing, they were as good as I remember for k! tour.

After I got pulled out I went to the top to wait for the others, but they didn't follow me, I saw livi getting carried out so I followed her, then went back to see if I could find heather, I saw heather getting carried to the first aid room, then Jenny was getting carried aswell, which just sent me over the top, and I collapsed in a heap of tears hyperventilating, probably cos it was a shock that all 3 of my friends collapsed at the same time, which meant I had to go to the first aid room.

I stayed there for a while with them, milly managed to find us, so I was with her.

After Jenny got better, and heather and livi were sitting up I wanted to go find layla, who had some how managed to stay at the barrier, but we couldn't find her, so we watched some of Story Of The Year, which looked quite good.

And then we went to see if Ciwwaf were on the main stage,

There was a band on the stage, but it wasn't ciwwaf it was boyslikegirls, which we thought we had missed, but we didn't, so we were like 'OMGGGGG'

So happy that I got to see them =]

They were awesome! Seriously.

i rang Becca in the middle of them, even though she couldnt hear it that well, i bet all she could hear was my aweful singing, and me screaming lol.

Only say 4 songs, and they were good!

So yeh, good day!

Cant wait for The Blackout to tour again!
