hi bye

isn't it wierd to say hi and goodbye at the same time?
For example today I am walking and have been hanging out with my boy friend at school then its time to go, but before I tell him goodbye my friend comes walking down the hallway and I hi to her. Then I turn around to tell him goodbye!
It may be stupid to think and analyze about it; but if we didn't analyze then there would be no wise men!
