So I just got back from Download festival 2008. It was the most amazing experience of my life!
I'm gunna keep it short(ish). Don't let people scare you about Download, it isn't scary at all. Everyone is so friendly, you walk round camp and randomers just come up and high 5 you, and say hi and stuff.
Bottling isn't as bad as people say. Elliot Minor got bottled, and there were a few bottle fights amongst the crowd between sets but it's all quite fun...strangely enough!
The tiolets were aweful, seriously. And there were WOMAN URINALS. Seriously. And people WERE using them!
The food is welll....stay away from anything with meat in and you'll be fine!
Bands, highlights being KISS. Gene Simmons spitting blood and shizz, Lostprophets...I'm speechless over that set. HIM were pretty good, Kill Hannah were killer, Bullet For My Valentine tore the mainstage up!
So, anyone who knows me well knows I'm a big Kill Hannah fan. I'm part of the KHK, and one of the KHK members asked me the other day, "what does KH mean to you and why does it mean that to you?" So I decided to write a song about it.
